A spectacular and rarely seen shrub whose habit and blooms look very different to your ordinary Buddleja.
Buddleja glomerata ‘Silver Service’ is an evergreen species with woolly stems and attractive, crinkled, silver foliage. Later to flower than other Buddlejas, it bears upright panicles of fluffy balls in a soft mustard colour which resemble the blooms of Acacias. The blooms are extremely fragrant, boasting a distinctive clove-like scent. This unusual Buddleja is a little less hardy than other species, tolerating temperatures down to -10°C and is best grown on a sheltered, south-facing wall. Height and spread: 1–1.5 metres (3-5ft).
The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
