Ceanothus ‘Marie Bleu’ forms a neat rounded specimen that is covered with a haze of lilac blue flowers from July to September. The glossy green, deciduous foliage cloaks this well branched variety throughout summer, forming good ground cover or low hedging. The flowers of Ceanothus ‘Marie Bleu’ are followed by attractive red seed capsules that extend the season of interest well into autumn. With its long flowering period and compact habit, this deciduous shrub is ideal for cottage gardens, rockeries and wildlife gardens where it will attract pollinating insects. Height and spread: 90cm (36″).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
