A beautiful selection of Cornus kousa, ‘Weisse Fontaine’ (waterfall in English) is distinguished by its gently arching habit of weeping branches and its free-flowering nature, creating a stunning waterfall of luminous white bracts in May/June. Graceful tiers of spreading, horizontal branches are decked with showy white bracts which stand out beautifully against glossy, dark green, pointed foliage. The show doesn’t end here. The flowering bracts are followed by decorative strawberry-like fruits and fabulous autumn colour when the foliage turns purple-red. A superb small specimen tree or large shrub with multiple seasons of interest. Height and spread: 3m (10ft).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
