Corylopsis Spicata

Originating in Japan, the Spike Witch Hazel is a low maintenance, deciduous shrub which will soon earn its place in your garden. Delicately scented racemes of yellow flowers hang down from bare stems in late winter or early spring, followed by deep red leaf shoots which turn dark green as the foliage appears. A spreading variety, Corylopsis spicata will be ideal at the back of a border or as part of a shrubbery or woodland garden. Height: 200cm (79″). Spread: 300cm (118″).
