Dark stems hold spectacular cactus flowers up to 13cm in diameter. The blooms of Dahlia ‘Henriette’ are a soft salmon-pink, fading to cream towards the edges of the quilled petals creating a glowing effect in afternoon light.
Dahlias provide colour from July to October, just when the main flowering season of the garden begins to fade. They’re perfect for filling gaps, superb as cut flowers and easy to grow. Dot plant them in sunny borders or use them to add splashes of colour to patio pots. The tubers can be lifted after the first hard frosts of autumn and replanted the following spring for bigger, better displays each year.
Height: 1m (39in). Spread: 60cm (24in).
