Attractive silvery leaves start to show themselves in spring on this small and compact, deciduous shrub. Sea Buckthorn is extremely tolerant of dry soil so is ideal for an area that receives full sun and little water. Hippophae rhamnoides ‘Hikul’ will form a rounded shape over time, the leaves turning a grey/green as they mature. This is a male variety that will not produce berries. It is ideal for hedging or screening as well as being used in shrub borders as a striking foliage specimen. Height: 150cm (59″). Spread: 150cm (59″).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
