Lonicera Japonica ‘Repens’

This vigorous honeysuckle is usefully evergreen, providing all-year-round cover and screening. Lonicera japonica ‘Repens’ is clothed in purplish leaves and twining stems which will quickly scramble over a wall or trellis. From spring to late summer, it bears tubular, white flowers tinged with purple which fade to yellow. Their strong fragrance will fill the air with scent making this a lovely choice for seating areas beneath a large, shady pergola. The flowers are followed by black berries. RHS Award of Garden Merit.
