Physocarpus Opulifolius ‘Little Devil’

The new leaves of Physocarpus opulifolius ‘Little Devil’ emerge bright red before maturing to deep burgundy by summer. The dark foliage contrasts beautifully with clusters of pink flowers that adorn the branch tips from June. By late summer the flowers are replaced by attractive fruits. Undemanding and easy to grow, this compact variety makes a superb choice for beginner gardeners, providing a long season of interest for little effort. Height and spread: 1.2m (4′).
