Schizophragma hydrangeoides ‘Rose Sensation’ is a stunning variety with elegant pink, lace cap flowers which are borne in flat topped clusters during June and July. The ovate, toothed leaves are dark green creating a dense covering upon the sturdy, woody stems. Although relatively slow growing, once established it will provide a magnificent wall covering that will give years of pleasure. This climbing shrub will need tying in to the supporting wall during the first few years but thereafter it will attach itself using self-clinging aerial roots. A superb choice for a part shaded, north facing wall. Height: 6m (19′). Spread: 3m (10′).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
