Spiraea Japonica ‘Gold Mound’

Golden spring foliage slowly cools to lime green by summer before returning to buttery yellow as the autumn chill sets in. Although mainly grown for its foliage, the pink blooms of Spiraea japonica ‘Gold Mound’ come as a bonus. With a low, spreading habit this variety makes useful groundcover that will attract butterflies and other pollinating insects. An adaptable and easy to grow shrub for sunny borders. Height: 90cm (3′). Spread: 1.2m (4′).
