This impressive, hardy Viburnum is one of the larger species which will quickly make an impact in the garden. The dark, evergreen foliage is prominently veined and felted grey beneath – a lovely backdrop for the clusters of white flowers in spring. Female plants may produce small red berries if the flowers are pollinated, which ripen to glossy black. Viburnum rhytidophyllum is a handsome, large shrub which makes a superb screening plant or hedge in larger gardens. When planted in mixed borders and woodland gardens, it will provide valuable year-round structure and colour. Height: 4m (13′). Spread: 5m (16′).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
